ABOUT Olly

Olly graduated with a Masters Degree in Geography from the University of St Andrews. Whilst at University he developed a taste for survey, applying learnt techniques to ascertain beach and nearshore profiles for a dissertation on coastal geomorphology. 

 

In 2010, Olly began as a Land and Nearshore Hydrographic Surveyor, working on a variety of interesting projects and gaining valuable experience from the challenges encountered where land meets sea. 

 

In 2012 he moved into Offshore Survey, working as a data processor on marine construction projects across Europe and Africa. 

 

Olly returned to East Devon in 2015 to renovate an 18th century cottage, which was followed by freelance work as a co-ordinator on a variety of construction projects. 

 

With this valuable experience in both construction and survey, Olly is well placed as a dedicated Land Surveyor in the Force Ten team.
